Safety Relief, Pressure Relief & Reducing Valve Manufacturer India< |
Although it may sound the same and both the valves are made of steel there is a basic difference in the two types of valves based on the type of method of manufacturing them and their internal properties. Cast steel ball valves are manufactured by using molten hot steel to fall inside a cast and then they are left out to solidify. One of the most common types of steel manufactured using this way is cast alloy steel. Cast alloy steel can be further divided into cast carbon steel, cast low alloy steel, and specially casted steel. A forged steel ball valve, on the other hand, is manufactured by forging the pieces and using the forging process. Advantages of forged steel ball valves A forged steel ball valve will easily withstand more impact forces and thus resist more pressure without bulging, cracking, or breaking. They have more plasticity, toughness, and other properties that allow them to be more favorable for hardcore industrial processes. If you have any high pressurized system that uses pneumatic or highly pressurized gas or liquid substances to flow through them then you need to use the forged steel ball valves.
